Post No. 2,824 - A formalisation and extension of clearing techniques - Part 1D - Form 04

Further to   “Post No. 2,712 - A formalisation and extension of clearing techniques - Part 1”   https://gnwmythr.blogspot.com/2024/02/post-no-2712-coming-formalisation-and.html   I have some additional details on Form 04 below. I’ll start with the information from the above-mentioned post. 

Ultimately I will aim to do this for each Form so I can, at the very least, create a separate link for each Form. Form 04 - Redirect – distraction

When nonBPM units (most commonly energy, but could be something else as well) is being directed by a being (not necessarily human), one of the possibilities is to distract their attention. Then, while they are distracted, you could remove yourself to a place of safety, prepare to use another Form, seek help, or a combination of those and other techniques. 

As a physical world example, if you were playing hide and seek you could maybe – somehow – arrange for a noise or some movement to distract the seeker while you move to a different position. 

Obviously that would not work if you were being sought by, say, your pet dog, as they are very scent focused. 

If you are being subjected to a direct psychic attack, you could ask your BPM  Guides to provide a distraction, and they may create a thought form nearby of someone the attacker dislikes even more, with a view to the attacker shifting focus to attacking the image. Then, before the attacker works out that they are attacking only an image, you can take any of the actions listed above. 

This is one of those techniques that sounds simple … until you actually get into the nitty gritty of actually doing it. 

It is a technique that one has to be extremely careful about, as one must be absolutely sure you are not redirecting the attacker’s attention to a person/place/other unit that is real – even more so, if the person/place/other unit is vulnerable or even potentially vulnerable. 

It is also possible to distract by creating an image nearby of something the attacker or doer-of-harm wants, but the same provisos apply in that instance as well. 

And there are a whole bunch of advanced variations of this that I am not going to get into here. 

For now, I suggest you get your BPM  Guides  to create the distraction, or limit yourself to creating images (especially non-visual – sounds, scents, vibrations, etc are all useful) of, for instance, BPM units “behind” whoever is attacking you so that your attacker will do the astral equivalent of glance behind them (which is less likely to work for more skilled opponents)

If you want to do more, find a real life BPM teacher, or develop your ability to work more effectively with your BPM  Guides / Tutelary (Matron/Patron/Non Binary) Deities / Higher Self / other BPM sources

This technique is well suited to Air  elemental  energy/units / magick/magickal techniques.

Technical details 

First off, a lot of what was written in the technical details section of Form 01 and of Form 02 applies here – certainly, at least, principles such as intention, passive vs. active techniques, relative strength, tools such as ritual to increase the strength of your units, using units you are familiar and/or comfortable with (and know to be BPM, by the way), use of multiple and/or overlapping units, anchoring your units, using multiple senses if possible, safe location/positioning so you do not harm others accidentally, and exceptionally good self-care skills and habits. 

I won’t repeat those common comments for this or the other forms, other than repeating the preceding paragraph. 

For work done specifically by you for this Form you will basically be creating and programming thought forms. Forming your intentions clearly and well – keeping all the previous section’s requirements in mind is therefore crucial. The intention does not have to be of a specific object: it could also simply be along the lines of “I wonder what’s elsewhere?”, or “something elsewhere is more interesting”. 

As stated in the preceding, your BPM  Guides  can create the distraction – subject to whatever the work agreement is between you and them. 

Combined with creation of an undetectability bindrune that is enough for many – maybe most, but certainly NOT all – incidents of unwelcome attention to be redirected elsewhere. 

Energetic devices of this type will need a boost, as they are necessarily intended to “bump into” and mingle with other energies/units. I just establish and check protection and then reach out my sensing to the units, and see how they feel – flat, or quietly humming with energy. Practice is the key to learning which sensed energy levels are OK and which aren’t.

I often do the recharge – if I can – just after a full moon, when the moon is waning, as the intent is for others’ interest to also wane. 

However, having said that, let’s say there is an event nearby which may result in an increased risk of problems, then I will check and boost the energy levels of the distraction units beforehand no matter what the phase of the moon is. 

Being 5% (say) less effective because of the phase of the moon is still better than being 20% less effective owing to lack of energy ... 

It shouldn’t have to be said, but this needs to be backed up with physical actions to avoid drawing attention to yourself. If you, for instance, created a distraction spell and then set up a seasonal lights display or played extremely loud music, you are at best telling the universe you are a hypocrite or not really wanting to avoid attention, at worst you are showing an arrogant disrespect towards the Universe and trying to “lord it over creation” – or that you are simply a liar.
