Some thoughts relating to the psychic irresponsibility of most people living today, and the implications for empaths. Further thoughts about safety in groups and life for parents after teenagers (yes, they can be survived, and it may be possible to heal yourself after they leave … * ), and a bunch of reading links about Heathens, Pagan Prison Ministry, rituals, privacy, the flaws of good intentions, discipline, bullies, violent sexism, reducing recidivism, and a ludicrous management decision.

The phrase in the title is not mine, and I haven’t been able to find the original source, but it has been useful for me to prompt people to think about ethical issues. That is followed by some thoughts about communication, including memories from childhood, the spiritual vacuum in society and the foolishness of the Bodhisattva Vow.

This film shows some truly appalling indulgence of violent behaviour, and tries to write it off as “just …”. Bull. The behaviour should have been called out, and the person taught why it was wrong.
I also provide a few links about discrimination, abuse of the environment, attitudes to cancer, parenting and suicide by children.
