things happening to good people is not necessarily due to their past negative
karma: it can also be a test of those around them, to see if those people are
going to do anything to help, or just judge - which also applies even if the

While
deliberate use of psychic abilities is often ineffective and morally wrong,
some people have (generally minor) ability to do so as a test or karmic reward.
