I look at the comparison between big or ‘little’ government, and argue that both miss the point, and suggest that someone should try comparing private and public attempts to meet society’s needs against the actual level of need.

A response to the view that Christianity / neochristianity is more significant than Paganism in promoting peace, and a little about a forthcoming (well, it was forthcoming at the time :) ) community TV interview with myself about Paganism.

Differentiating between what I term ‘astral cleaners’, and phages - which are like astral parasites, stimulating people to produce some type of negative energy that they can then feed upon.

I found channelling this post extremely helpful for me, as it came during a time when I was quite low and feeling that I was barely able to cope. Superficially, it is about the strength that is need to be a Servant of the Goddesses/Gods/Light; more particularly, it about the fact that responsibility for some failures lies with those who created the (unfair) obstacles that led to the failure.

A few comments about attitudes, born out of frustration and annoyance … oops :)
Also, a little about the purpose of life and spirituality, and some readings links, including some that add more to Post No. 540.

Having got tired of having to scramble around to find on-line definitions that I considered acceptable (and Wikipedia is no longer credible, in my view, for most of what I want - see here [found via this Wild Hunt post] for more, along with here and my post "The Death of Wikipedia"), so I’ve started my own on-line glossary. It is not authoritative, it is purely for the context of the Musings of Gnwmythr blog and my perspective.

An example from my day job.

A brief introduction to some new sayings I’ve added to various signature blocks: two about communication, and one about arrogance.

An example of this from a newspaper article.

Some thoughts in preparation for the weekly Sunday meditation, including one on the complexity of people.

A story from this series, which has been written to illustrate some of what I am writing about in fictional situations.

The need for teamwork and professionalism when doing spirit rescue or any other serious form of psychic work, and how that doesn’t happen in Hollywood’s version of the Greater Reality … :)

The flaws of the ancient Stoics (not what the modern word means!), arrogant attitudes, choosing a lifestyle to enable one to be oneself, the rubbish on so-called ‘reality’ TV shows, what is success or failure and who decides, and a whinge about the bulk of the hippies.

How would one follow The Morrigan in the modern world; those who abuse, harm or kids can - obviously - never claim to love them; my plans for a tarot deck based on the Valkyrie; female aggression; can humans trapped in a situation be compared to animals trapped; a response to complaints about the modern crop of whistleblowers and a whinge about the impact of games on searching for stuff on the Internet.
