Something that has become very clear to me of late is just how absolutely cold hearted (I would actually use ironohearted, which goes back to appalling history almost a century ago, but that may cause too many problems in the title - despite being more accurate) this world is.
Our world’s problems particularly featureoendemicoandoegregiousofascism, complete with cover ups and patriarchy’sotoxicomasculinity-toxicofemininityocombo running rampant through too many political, religious, and other social power structures - a combo which conceivedoandoenabledoneoliberalism, including “recruiting”o(scamming!)owillingodupes to beofoot soldiers.
Those problems have been discussed by myself (e.g., here, here, and here - which leads in to this post) and others (economist Richard J Murphy has been doing a particularly excellent job of this of late), and I’m not going to repeat that because I want to focus on one human consequence of the world’s ironoheartedness, and that is:
the devastating impact on self confidence and self esteem (especially for those who have suffered CSA, SA, or are neurodivergent or otherwise considered “different” [especially with non-apparent disabilities] or are women - both cis and trans [or combinations of the preceding]) and thus the ability to do tasks like get and hold a paying job (including my current struggle to get an adequate income for me and my family) - which this ironohearted world cruelly and wrongly considers a foundational justification for existence ...
The impact is severe enough that people can become severely ill when trying to get a job - partly through the depletion of the immune system and body’s strength that is caused by stress (as I have well known both now and through probably 70 - 80% of my working career), and partly through the effects of such problems - some possiblyopsychosomatic, most more severe, along the lines of what Louise Hay wrote about.
I’ve seen that first hand in my life, of late.
On the other hand, I have also of late had a reminder of the nature of this reality, and what nonphysical strengths and abilities can do.
Oddly, that came through an interview about something I have been wary and suspicious of, as it seemed to be getting in to what is termedodisabilityop_rn - something which exceptionalises disability or “others” disabled people by putting us onto a problematic platform.
That “something” is the Telepathy Tapes, which I revised my opinion of because of this interview.
In the interview, it became clear to me that:
- those conducting the investigation had little, and still have little, broader awareness of neurodivergence and the potential for problems with their focus on one aspect of one part of the autistic community and overlapping/similar segments of other communities - so I still have concerns about all this,
but also:
- the investigation of the rishis is genuine, and along the lines of the investigations reported on in “Superhuman: The Invisible Made Visible” and “A Tear in the Sky”, which I have written about previously.
As I listened properly, I felt quite a bit of the damage done by this ironohearted world on me being healed, and it started to remind me of my knowledge of and restore - more to what it should be - my ability to work with the nature of this reality, and what nonphysical strengths and abilities can do.
That knowledge is a counter to this world’s savage ironoheartedness.
Without the pervertingobadofaithotaintooforeligiousodogmaoandoideology, that objective, good faith gathering of genuine evidence is the sort of act that can help lift our hearts (and minds) and souls out of and above the poisonousoneoliberaloquagmireoofohate,odivision,oandoisolation of this world today to a state closer to that which we should all be living in.
It will NOT fix the world ... but it can potentially fix enough people to an extent that they can then fix the world ...
