The purposes of this post include:
(1) to provide information, includingonews, which may be of interest, value, or use to Readers;
(2) to identify both BPM and nonBPM opportunities to do the work of this blog (particularly clearing nonBPM nonphysical units, BPM healing, and BPM strengthening of BPM units - the news items helps draw in/helps me find those people and other units in need of any of the help I can provide); and
(3) to help engage and frameomy emotional, mental, and other nonphysical (psychic, spiritual, Higher Self, BPM Guides, etc) aspects both for doing my weekly PWR and for doing the work that flows from the PWR - which may also occur for some others.
Some of this post will likely be distressing - hence the content warning, to allow people to choose times they have high energy and/or are in a goodostate to view these, or to ensure they have access to support resources if they may be triggered, or to choose to either temporarily or permanently skip viewing this post or the “News” sections, as is best for their health and wellbeing.
Within this post, I generally try to identify what is considered “good” news in green, possibly also with green background, but owing to time, energy, and health limitations, may not always be able to do so. Similarly, I generally try to show editorial commentsoby me in this shade of blue (quotes are in this shade of blue) - and for the times I miss doing so, you should keep your thinking cap on.

News :
Noting the excellent daily aggregation of globalonews links at https://everythingbriefing.substack.com/
On the existential climate crisis & nuclear threats and environmental issues this week:
Indigenous people are finally being heard at COP30 - and Pacific Island nations are using the ICJ decision that nations “have a legal duty to adopt and maintain ambitious climate measures”; South Korea's excellent decision to close all coal fired power plants will also have an impact on Australia's export of GHG-causing fossils; lobbyists attending COP30 were asked to disclose who was funding them; a The Guardian exclusive reports “COP30 draft text omits mention of fossil fuel phase-out roadmap Exclusive: Summit leadership releases new text despite 29 nations threatening to block progress without commitment” - this COULD mean the lobbying fossils have won, and the COP process is dead ... ;
lies and misinformation being used by anti-human survival, anti-climate action persons/organisations; concerns following South Australia's recent devastating algal bloom; “researchers say real impact of deforestation being hidden in Australia’s official figures by ‘sleight of hand’”; despite warnings, the national ALP government is talking to the regressive neolibs (who, according to this The Guardian exclusive, have been told to - in MY word - lie about their anti-climate crisis action position) about weakening environmental law changes to get them through Parliament ... later in the week, “Labor would prevent a contentious “national interest” exemption being used to approve coal and gas projects if the Greens agreed to support its nature laws, Guardian Australia can reveal” - but that may not ben enough ... ;
In the global struggle against f_sc_sm (and “producerism” and sociocide) - whichoisofought wherever we are (note the advice/examples/guidance on resistance here, here, here, here, here, here, here, this [on the efficacy of nonviolent protest], this book, this book, this, and these) this week:
Hate for political purposes has been a major them this week, and includes:
- policies of government and far right parties in the UK;
- more threats of military violence by the USA against Central And South America (authoritarians [and others] have historically used wars as a distraction from internal matters - which is an appalling contempt towards others' life);
- the USA's leader has contradicted US intelligence assessments and defended Saudi Arabia’s crown prince over the murder of a dissident-journalist (this may also be the politics of greed on the part of the US leader); and
- a disturbing series of anti-child acts in my home state to pacify and buy over both victims of youth crime and those who think youth crime should be handled by authoritarian abuse - although some experts think one action could help, but a broader, more nuanced view is required.
On the other hand there has been resistance including community training in the USA, a call for a holistic strategy against n__-n_z_s, and a white South African who attended a n__-n_z_ rally will be deported from Australia; an investigation has shown six of the rhetorical tactics used by VEs; in an act described as a warning to those with extremist views, three men in Australia have been charged (remember this - which is also an important counter to their alleged views) with threatening politicians; in Canada, a “Human Rights Tribunal limits government delay tactics in national security cases”; documents obtained after a five year legal battle reveal New York police used extensive, discriminatory surveillance abuses;
We are also facing significant "burn it all down" moments - see also this, and “why money isn’t our limit — but political courage is”;
In other matters, concerns have been shown by the 2025 Australian youth barometer about the experiences of young people, an excellent commentary about keeping people's religions out of other people's lives, top tier professionals are resisting change, an excellent criticism of "profit without purpose", some basic information on the personalised brainwashing used by cults, right wing media are now attacking an Australian platform the way they did the BBC; a conservative neochristian group is trying to appear as if it is a respectable men's group for an international day campaign; drug use has been a major human problem for centuries: its use by fascists as a pretext that doesn't care about the victims is now making it a major war vs peace problem (and the out of touch cluelessness of decision makers - people who ignore the fact that life is worse under neoliberalism - is of equal or greater concern); a call for a billionaire whose cuts have caused deaths to be held to account; “the odds of job seekers finding entry-level work are so low that “even the most determined will be left behind””; the UK wants to follow Denmark from almost a decade ago (and Germany of the 1940s) by dehumanising people by stripping them of their personal jewellery; “UN experts condemn [mis]use of Interpol red notices against human rights defenders in El Salvador”;
Items of concern/note (and associated resistance/actions) in/regarding the USA and theiroleader, noting this on “a slight change of activist focus”, include:
A review of the corporate interests that would benefit from a coup in Venezuela as the USA's leader says he is open to talks with Venezuela's leader - and to military attacks on Mexico; the evidence of history shows the best approach to legal attacks by the US leader is TO RESIST; more crippling hypocrisy on human rights by the USA;
The Epstein files saga this week has seen an call by the USA's leader to investigate Democrats linked to Epstein, a reminder that the USA's lack of caring for children means nothing will change for abused children, one linked person stepping down from some public roles, a notorious M_G_ figure who split with the US leader claiming to have been subjected to threats, a plea from the survivors of Epstein - girls at the time, an examination of the fine print of the USA's leader's claim to have ordered the release of the Epstein files, more attacking the messenger;
hypocritically, the USA - which has warned others to avoid loans from China's state banks - is the biggest recipient of Chinese state loans; a state Senator subjected to swatting after criticising the US leader, an open letter to a notorious bigot who has changed her stance on the US leader - but likely not on her targets of hate;
Items of concern/note (and associated resistance/actions) in/regardingoUkraine/Russia (et al) include (and note that war is inherently, personally brutal):
Calls for return of stolen Ukrainian children; Ukraine will buy 100 French fighter jets; law enforcement agencies are being criticised over possible involvement in the major corruption scandal - which has weakened President Zelens'kyi; Russia is attacking train networks; the EU is hedging its bets on Ukraine, but Finland has urged Europe to hold its nerve as the USA resumes backstabbing with an extremist pro-Russia, Ukrainian sovereignty destroying proposal and a Swedish general warns Russia will test NATO soon; a money laundering scheme supporting Russia's war has been stopped;
Questions about the practicality of new Russian weapons; internal divisions; North Korea has halved it shell supply to Russia to preserve its own stocks;
Attack on the legal profession in Belarus; Poland says it is in the pre-war phase with Russia - see also this;
On other international affairs/political news matters this week:
Items of concern/note (and associated resistance/actions) in/regardingoWest Asiaoinclude:
the USA is “planning for [a] divided Gaza with ‘green zone’ secured by international and Israeli troops”; Israeli soldiers shot at UN peacekeepers in Lebanon - allegedly mistakenly; the UN has adopted the US plan for Gaza - after some changes insisted on by Arab nations, with support by Israel and the Palestinian Authority, but not H___s; inadequate aid;
the war in Gaza has only changed tempo, not ended; evidence suggests Israel used cluster munitions in Lebanon; appalling details have been revealed of the sexual and other abuses committed by Israel against those on an aid flotilla;
a call for the BBC to apologise for justifying the genocide in Gaza;
The USA is inflaming tensions over the kidnapping of Muslim schoolgirls in Nigeria with fantasist nonsense ... but there has now been a kidnapping of christian schoolgirls; in Sudan: the Sudanese rebel-backing UAE has arrested dozens of supporters of the Sudanese government, the UN is investigating atrocities, 100,000 people have fled the genocide in El Fasher, Darfur, in Sudan - creating another humanitarian crisis, and the war is also happening on social media; in a massive act against civil society, the junta in Niger has shut down hundreds of NGOs; oil production at a South Sudanese oil facility has been (temporarily) stopped after a drone attack; growing military connections between Uganda and Russia; “Ghana scraps tax on minerals exploration to boost investment”; a deep examination of Tanzania's problems; a referendum in Ecuador has rejected allowing the US military to return; an egregious lack of recovery actions for those in the Caribbean affected by Hurricane Melissa;
On human rightsomatters:
Questions (especially about pandering to northern xenophobia) about a UN proposal to address refugees and migrants - who often use the same routes - more effectively; the UK high court has held an “Australia company liable for 2015 collapse of Brazil dam”;
before asking for any ID, ACT police violently dragged an Indigenous teenager off a bus and restrained him (causing breathing difficulties) and then searched him without cause even after they knew he was not the suspect;
transphobia in Qld and Aotearoa (aka "New Zealand"), but support in my adopted home state; “a New South Wales man who called for violence and created an “invitation on social media for a genocide” has become the state’s first person to be convicted of hate speech against transgender people”;
“statistically, the most reliable way to predict a domestic violence homicide is to believe the victim”;
On societal and governanceomatters:
The problem of non-compete clauses;

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our MÓ•gan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).
