Last night’s lucid dreaming work included some interesting sensory and dexterity actions with my hands, but it also:
- showed the extent to which people want to believe hiding something from sight fixes it - which can be a defence or coping mechanism, but also means can put on a convincing facade of happiness at the supposed ending of a problem that has, at most, just been shifted elsewhere. This does not necessarily mean that superficiality should be torn away, as there is a real risk of people not being able to cope with what they see and being psychologically damage, but it DOES mean those people should stop interfering with those of us who can see the problem, and want to do so as part of finding a solution (which may require cognitive dissonance on their part, but if that is what they need to stay sane for now [especially if they have past trauma - which judgemental IPOCs likely will not know of], then - so long as they do not interfere with others who can look, so be it);
PS - I am NOT considering actions such as the blatant gaslighting by the USA’socurrentoheadoofostate in this discussion. The preceding is limited to the everyday interactions of people who do not have significant socio-ecomomic-political power.
- there has been some commentary on podcasts that I listen to (or, more accurately, read the transcripts of) about life being for the purpose of gaining experience. That is true, but I have now been able to pin down my discomfort with how that has been presented, which is that it is from the perspective of a comfortable middle class westerner. Yes, we do need to gain a wide range of experiences (including a range of genders and sexualities), but we also, and more importantly, have to learn how to be better atospiritualolove - climbing a mountain over 8,000omoin height is significant, and may teach us about organisation, will power/determination/keeping going, MAYBE (not always, given the egos that used to be involved) team work, but if it involves ignoring the litter and, most important of all, walking past the human suffering and/or lack of realised human potential (which is not quite development - it adds an ethical element often missing from westerner’s considerations of that topic) then it is only a fraction of an experience - something that is missing what should be at its heart. Edmund Hillary was the second man to reach and return safely from the summit of Qomolangma/Sagarmatha/Mount Everest, after Tenzing Norgay, but he followed that up by spending years helping build schools in Nepal - that shows what experience is about: it’s not a mindless point scoring exercise.
However, the aspect that I consider those in the podcasts have been advocating for also needs to be acknowledged: having experiences that are different to the norm (suchoasoexperiencing a rangeoofogendersoandosexualities), or seemingly failing to meet societal norms, are valid - often more so than the experience of beingoconformist.
Just don’t forget that that some experiences people seem to be going through is actually a test of those around them, to see if the bystanders have yet learned empathy and compassion.
Possible flaws
Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider:
- there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”;
- I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).#PsychicABetterWorld and may all that I do be of value and actively BPM used for and by the nonphysical BPM because #KindnessIsThePoint
