Post No. 3,228 - Reflections on the past week, and some interesting reading/viewing [Content Warning - oppression/bigotry/hate/violence/abuse/war. Reader discretion is advised]

  • To me, this is a different lens on the consciousness aspects of the UFO/UAP/ET field, which I came to from the spiritual growth world anyway, so it is nothing new conceptually, but: (a) it is an outstanding presentation, (b) it introduces specific aspects that are recent (such as plasma as a basis for consciousness - and the hero arc), and (c) others may well relate to the way the topic is approached:

(3) to help engage and frameomy emotional, mental, and other nonphysical (psychic, spiritual, Higher Self, BPM  Guides, etc) aspects both for doing my weekly PWR and for doing the work that flows from the PWR - which may also occur for some others.

In a truly incredible act, Queensland right wing neoliberal government has refused demands from industry to reduce the coal levy - and conservationists rubbishing the claims of the industry of a downturn (it's still incredibly damaging to the environment, contributes to climate change, and harms human health) - noting the ongoing self destructive fight within the neoliberal party and their “supporters” over the issue of climate change ... but - equally incredible - Tasmanian neoliberals have stopped a controversial and environmentally damaging fish farm expansion pending a review ... ;      a recent Nordic heatwave was made ten times worse by climate change;      a group of nonviolent earth protectors in France “face heavy repression as they block the construction of an environmentally damaging new road”;      an Australian city’s water supply is at risk from mining;      more water flow problems in the Murray-Darling;      “Voices arguing that climate action is a waste of time are getting louder. Here’s why they are wrong   ...   Optimism may be hard to come by but the evidence shows some progress on emissions is not just possible – it’s happening before our eyes”;      “air pollution from oil and gas causes 90,000 premature US deaths each year, says new study”;

The sociocide being committed by the wealthy;      in a response to an analysis which identifies mediaeval theocracy is the origin of fascism and suggests enlightenment, a suggestion is made that “the opposite of fascism is not another political ideology, but is instead action to remove the causes of fear”;      the US Secret Service has committed an unconscionable breach of sovereignty, law, and privacy by demanding social media account details of the residents of UK towns;      an advisor to a far right extremist political party in the UK has said the UK should not have fought in WW2;      from Bluesky:   “in a choice between terrorists and authoritarians, I pick neither. History demonstrates terrorists are just aspirational authoritarians and authoritarians are just institutionalised terrorists”;      an “Edinburgh Fringe venue [is] under fire for censoring [an] artist's [anti-fascist] work”;      a consideration on defining fascism - and see also this;      drawing on the example of Danish resistance during WW2;      “why criminalising protest won't stop people from rising up for causes that matter”;      increasing misogyny in Argentina;      a white supremacist incitement of hate crimes in the UK;

Items of concern/note (and associated resistance/actions) in/regarding the USA and theiroAutocrat-in-Chiefo(AIC), noting this on “a slight change of activist focus”, include: 

Several states (with higher crime rates than DC!) will add their  National Guard collaborators to the military occupation of Washington DC ... with a subsequent agreement for a scaling back of the invasion;      the (claimed) 13.7 million sociopaths in the USA - note, from Wikipedia:   “The estimated lifetime prevalence of ASPD amongst the general population falls within 1% to 4%, skewed towards 6% men and 2% women”.   This also repeats the 1 to 4%, so the claimed 13.7 million is at the high end of the range - but it will be at least 3.4 million;      a judge has stopped the CSA-accused AIC from removing protections of children in custody;      the AIC is making another attempt to interfere with elections in the USA;      a correction of media reporting:   the US regime and a US state did not comply with a legal order regarding a notorious detainee concentration and abuse facility, they caved in without fighting!!!;     the AIC claims he wants to get to Heaven ... !!!;      a “majority of US troops surveyed [claim] they’re aware of their duty to not follow illegal orders”;      more attacks on the ICC by the US regime headed by an AIC who is desperately trying to stave off being tried for CSA;      the destruction of diversity in the USA;      the AIC is trying to bully a US state into releasing a convicted and jailed 2020 election conspiracy fantasist;      “A divided New York state appeals court ... unanimously struck down a nearly half-billion-dollar financial penalty against US President Donald Trump as unconstitutionally excessive, while issuing a fractured ruling on the underlying fraud allegations that produced no clear majority” - there was always some concern about the amount;      “dozens of Jewish organisations signed a letter denouncing requirements that Nonprofit Security grantees work with immigration authorities and refrain from boycotting Israel”;      the USA is reviewing all visas for anti-Americanism etc;

§   On migration, border control, rendition, deportations, and associated legal matters, another example of ICE’s violence and incompetence;      another typically grotesquely violent kidnapping by masked, unidentified thugs;      120,000 Ukrainians are at risk of being deported;      US immigration staff will now officially (they have been doing this unofficially for some time) assess  people for “‘anti-American’ views” (by which they mean anti-US, not anti- South or Central Amserican or anti-Canadian views);      “Uganda agrees to a deal with the US to take deported migrants if they don’t have criminal records” - despite the AIC’s claims of only deporting violent criminals ... ;      

 

Items of concern/note (and associated resistance/actions) in/regardingoUkraine/Russia (et al) include:  

On Putin and the AIC in Alaska and the fallout: 

Unsurprisingly, the yet again easily manipulated AIC - who Ukrainians fear will push all responsibility on to them - and unarrested war criminal Putin did not reach an agreement at the “sickening”, “worse than his first”  summit in which Russia clearly came off the winner, offering a frozen stalemate and a written “promise” (does Putin keep those? The Nordic and Baltic nations have warned Putin cannot be trusted) not to invade again if Ukraine cedes Donbass (and Russia bragged about their wins) - with the AIC having told Ukraine to cede Crimea and abandon NATO beforehand and subsequently abandoning a ceasefire.   

Also subsequently, Putin has allegedly agreed to NATO-style security guarantees for Ukraine, but there were conflicting claims by US officials.      At least ten European nations would provide troops for a security guarantee. 

And in another “subsequently”, Ukrainian President Zelens'kyi met with the AIC, but with active, united, support from European leaders - with France warning Russia is seeking Ukraine’s surrender, and the European Commission’s President warning “International borders cannot be changed by force”, but President Zelens'kyi:   (a) prepared to offer a US$90 billion arms deal with the USA to entice the AIC;   (b) stating he will discuss (which he has to say, in order to avoid diplomacy’s version of a civility trap), but most Russian demands are non-starters for Ukraine and thus are disingenuous on Russia’s part - and the suggestion of a Putin-Zelens'kyi meeting in Moscow is ludicrous beyond all belief.   Russia is continuing to delay, and also claim it should be involved in talks on security guarantees for Ukraine ... yeah, right/sarcasm      Discussion on security guarantees are continuing, with support from Japan & Sweden, and - surprisingly - the conservative government of Italy, and Russia says it will not accept European troops in Ukraine.      

There is an excellent assessment here by Anders Puck Nielsen, which points out that Putin has been trapped by the cluelessness and lack of understanding by AIC “TACO” of what was happening, being said, and being signified, and a thoughtful opinion here by Timothy Snyder. 

Elsewhere regarding Ukraine and Russia,   an opinion that Ukraine is where democracy finds its fiercest defenders;      Russian propaganda has been telling outrageous lies in occupied Ukrainian territory;      owing to inadequate safeguards, almost half of the Starlink terminals sent to Ukraine have wound up in Russia - creating a risk of misuse;      “Ukraine sanctions Russian, Chinese, Belarusian firms supplying drone technology”;      a Russian-captured M113 armoured personnel carrier has been used in Russian propaganda - complete with US flag;      as the USA escalates a purge of US intelligence officials, a massive Russian attack on Ukraine - which also intruded on other European nations’ airspace - which deliberately INCLUDED a US factory, and the AIC’s failure to respond, is causing global anger;      Ukraine will begin production of a domestic cruise missile;

Hundreds of thousands of Israelis have protested  nationwide against the war and genocide in Gaza and for the release of the remaining hostages;         an expose of an Israeli unit tasked with smearing journalists in Gaza (and I wonder if they go elsewhere as well?);      an article on Israel’s current targetting of the West Bank as the Israeli military prepares to ethnically cleanse Gaza City and an evacuated Palestinian woman dies of malnutrition, and 21 nations condemn Israel's illegal West Bank settlement plan and 27 demand journalists be allowed to access Gaza;      more genocidal statements in Israel - including this one by a former head of Israeli intelligence;         the STAGGERING 35 year drop in life expectancy in Gaza;         a famine has finally been officially declared in Gaza;         “a record 383 aid workers were killed in global hotspots in 2024, nearly half in Gaza, UN says”;      an aid ship has left Cyprus (which was the staging area last year for 22,000 tons of aid via US military dock and a pier), after checks by Israel, with 1,200 tons (about half one day’s previous aid [although that included more than food - fuel, medical supplies, etc]) of food from Cyprus (using UAE funds), Italy, Malta, and a Kuwaiti NGO, for Gaza, to be offloaded at an Israeli port and then trucked to storage areas and food stations operated by an NGO, NOT the current US nightmare;      reports that H___s has accepted an Arab ceasefire proposal which has been rejected by Israel and also the USA - which had been a participant in those talks;      a tech company’s workers have occupied their company HQ in protest at ties to the Israeli military;      “how Iran lures Israeli citizens into spy missions”;      outrage and disbelief by humanitarian figures and observers as a meeting marks a new low for humanitarian independence and legitimacy because it risks normalising the GHF;      

“disillusioned with Netanyahu and the war in Gaza, Israelis are fleeing” - emigration has doubled since 7th October, 2023;       the Israeli military is desperately trying to remedy a 12,000 troop shortfall;      IDF data shows 83% of all recorded deaths in Gaza were civilians;      

An assessment of how the politics of a Palestinian state would work;       

Islamophobia is increasing in Australia - with the majority of incidents not reported but GPs who are pro-Palestine being subjected to vexatious complaints, and a writer’s festival accused of requiring self censorship of pro-Palestinian views via a code of conduct;      foreign interference in an antisemitism conference in Australia;      a far right Israeli politician who described children as enemies has been banned from Australia - leading to petty  retaliations by Israel - and “Australia’s peak Jewish group has lambasted Benjamin Netanyahu for his attack on Anthony Albanese as “inflammatory and provocative”, adding that it showed a “woeful lack of understanding of social and political conditions in Australia””, and France has criticised claims by Netanyahu;       “the University of Melbourne has been found to have breached Victoria's privacy laws by using [Wi-Fi location data, student card photographs and CCTV footage] information to track students involved in a 2024 pro-Palestinian protest”;      an Australian doctor has been pressured into resigning from a position for opposing the atrocities in Gaza;      the UK Home Office is trying to commit refoulement;      a right wing extremist troll has caused the USA to stop issuing visas to people from Gaza;      


China has urged Cambodia and Thailand to resolve their dispute;       the USA is trying the British idea of gunboat diplomacy against Venezuela;      

 

On human rightsomatters: 

“UN-mandated independent investigators have uncovered “systematic torture” in Myanmar’s military-run detention facilities – including beatings, electric shocks, strangulations and gang rape – a pattern of atrocities which is intensifying across the country”;       “Sri Lanka police continue targeting families of the ‘disappeared’”;      a US company “ditching DEI cost the CEO his job and investors $12 Billion”;      

More transphobic hate and misogynistic abuses coming out of transphobia in the USA - and anti-LGBTQIA+ book bans   ...   and an appalling transphobic breach of privacy by a US hospital;      in a major act of gay erasure a homophobe has re-written Alan Turing’s life as if he were straight;      an appallingly abusive and vicious transphobe has lost her appeal against an AVO;      an anti-trans doxxing site;      an Australian newspaper has been called out for their transphobic hate;      transphobic police have been enabling anti-trans haters in my home city,   AND   a pack of puerile, amathiac violent “protestors” have stolen the microphone away from the trans community in my home state by violence they claimed was “for” the trans community;      

Xenophobic protests by (black) South Africans against (black) non-South Africans;       

in 2027, after an alternative support programme for children with autism, which is being misdescribed as developmental delay, is in place, they will be removed from the NDIS on the basis of alleged “over-servicing”, leading to surprise, concern, and fear;       


On societal and governanceomatters: 

“Rights group criticises use of AI detection tools in the US for targeting pro-Palestine protestors”;      “some people’s issues with AI parallel vegans’ concerns about [food ethics]”;      a warning about an AI stock bubble;      a social media platform is using AI to change creators’ content without seeking permission or even telling them;      workers have successfully held a corporate behemoth for illegal behaviour;      some reports on, or opinion pieces about, an economic roundtable  here,  here,  here,  here,  here (and business owners showed themselves to be as incompetent, amathiac, lazy, self centred and greedy as ever),  here,  and  especially here.
