I did a
rescue this morning (which is nothing unusual - I even did one yesterday while I was having a shower :D ), but I was struck by the experiences of some of the entities rescued: they were emergency workers who had died a few decades ago, and, when they saw "the Light", thought they must be about to go to (the Christian) "
Heaven", BUT ... they didn't want to spend the rest of eternity sitting on a cloud, playing a harp and singing the praises of "the Lord". They wanted to keep working, to keep being of service - which is, in my humble estimation, a motivation that is far too underplayed by society (
especially the media).
The other interesting issue is the problems that can occur when one is limited by a particular religion's beliefs ("reality map"),
Christianity in this case (maybe they thought they were in purgatory?).
