- the recurrence of El Niño and the existential crisis of the climate crisis generally, together with poverty, world hunger & thirst, war/conflict/violence, bigotry, and the opposition to christo-fascism;
- global thirst;
- need for aid in Lachin Corridor (Armenia-Azerbaijan), Niger,
- bushfires in Canada;
- successful positivist action by Brazil to reduce the ongoing legacy of structural racism;
- an attempted abuse of power (my wording) by a religious body to evade responsibility for CSA;
- violence, including war/conflict & violent crime, in Niger, Sudan, Libya, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Somalia, South Africa, Yemen, burma, and note this atrocity alert for Sudan, burma, and Niger;
- threats to democracy/media in Zimbabwe, and Senegal;
- the national ALP conference.
