Post No. 1,802 - Magickal Battle of the World - Weekly Meditation - Week No. 44 - How to work in a group or movement at a distance

Black Lives Matter!

Stay safe - wash your hands, practice social distancing and wear a face mask in public, and follow informed medical advice - and be considerate towards those at risk or in situations of vulnerability (including economic) while the COVID-19 pandemic is a problem.

I have been writing about improving the world through a range of means on my blogs: this blog has been focused on spiritual and psychic means, including strengthening  BPM  units and clearing nonBPM units, and meditation to generate BPM energy (and units, if you know enough).

This has been done before - particularly during times of crisis.

The climate crisis has been our World War III for some time (with the denialists being, at the very least, the WW3 equivalents of Quisling, Vichy France, etc), and we now have the COVID-19  pandemic, caused by the zoonotic  SARS-CoV-2  novel coronavirus (there are other novel coronaviruses), on top of that.

World War II was probably the biggest global crisis before our current dual crises, and during those terrible events, there were a number of people undertaking magickal work, including  the work by Dion Fortune (there were others) outlined in the Gareth Knight edited book “The Magical Battle of Britain” (my copy pub. Skylight Press, 2012, ISBN 978-1-908011-45-9), which I reviewed here. Ms Fortune directed her team through a series of 136 weekly and (I think) 19 monthly meditations (I originally intended to publish a list at some stage, but it’s so long and comprehensive that I’m concerned about breaching copyright, so I may either see if I can find an online list, or publish something listing the broad themes only). At the end of this, she was exhausted, and that work is considered to have contributed to her death, but a change for the better had been accomplished.

We already have a lot of people doing a lot of work on making the world a better place (including before the current crises - and I’ve found this group working at following [and adapting] Ms Fortune’s techniques and purposes), but I would like to extend my contribution to also include a series of weekly - or near weekly - meditations along the line of those directed by Ms Fortune.

I am proposing this be added to the Sunday meditations which are part of my regular psychic work. For convenience, an outline of the meditation is provided at the end of this post.

The notes on each week’s meditation will probably be brief to the point of being terse.

This Week: No. 44 - How to work in a group or movement at a distance

The principles of respect, assuming good faith, requiring sanity, good communication and all other recommendations from last week still apply to working at a distance.

The main issue is how to connect at a distance, and, in this pandemic lockdown experienced world, online techniques for working at a distance have been well developed - and there is plenty of literature on the pros and cons of doing that which I won’t bother to repeat here.

It is, of course, also possible to use psychic techniques - which, to some extent, I do with the weekly meditations. However, I recommend not over-relying on psychic methods, as they’re perfect - if you think you tour application of psychic techniques is perfect, you are (a) arrogant, and (b) wrong

However, one “psychic” technique that can be particularly useful, especially when combined with normal online techniques, is asking BPM  Guides to work on issues during sleep state.

If you are close enough to catch up occasionally, I suggest using a proxy rock, which I first heard of in, I think, “The Only Planet of Choice”:

  • The idea is you have two objects, one being charged with actual energy from yourself by being kept with or on you as you are living (not only the good stuff, which creates a falsehood that is a barrier - you need to be authentic), the other being kept in a psychically insulated (not clearing!) manner: wrapping in silk cloth is one (classic but flawed) technique, sometimes foil paper can work - even envelopes work if the person using them has a good, strong intent.
  • After an interval ranging from one week to one month, the stored object is swapped for the one that has had its connection to the person it is representing recharged.
  • The objects can be anything that can be carried conveniently, but not something offensive.
  • The leader of the group should be the only person to handle them. When working, set up a chair for the person as if they were physically present, then the leader takes the proxy object out of the envelope/container and places it on chair, then do the group’s work as normal.
  • The intention is this will enable a sharing of psychic benefit and work.

One other technique which may enhance working at a distance (and close up) is the Rangers chakra technique that I described here. For working at a distance, a communication technique (I suggest something mundane initially) to coordinate will be required, at least for first while (maybe up to two or three years).

Good faith is important, as interactions may be lacking body language / tone of voice / etc.

However, you also need to be more strongly and rigorously focused on mental health and wellbeing - even for mundane work at a distance, this has shown itself to be a potential issue. I consider it reasonable to require a mental health check-up regularly with a trusted GP / counsellor

Finally, if you have concerns, don’t let them fester: raise them - in an appropriate, polite way, but don’t let them fester as (i) you may find they are ridiculous, and (ii) they may be valid, but attributable to the challenges of working at a distance.

I will use the same sigil as last week, which is for patience.
