Black Lives Matter!
The Climate Crisis is real, urgent and existential!
Stay safe - wash your hands, practice social distancing and wear a face mask in public, and follow informed medical advice - and be considerate towards those at risk or in situations of vulnerability (including economic).
I have been writing about improving the world through a range of means on my blogs: this blog has been focused on spiritual and psychic means, including strengthening BPM units and clearing nonBPM units, and meditation to generate BPM energy (and units, if you know enough). This has been done before - particularly during times of crisis. (See also this excellent analysis on the topic.)
World War II was probably the biggest global crisis before our current situation, and during those terrible events, there were a number of people undertaking magickal work, including Dion Fortune - as outlined in the Gareth Knight edited book “The Magical Battle of Britain” (my copy pub. Skylight Press, 2012, ISBN 978-1-908011-45-9), which I reviewed here. Ms Fortune directed her team through a series of 136 weekly and 19 monthly meditations; at the end of this, she was exhausted and that work is considered to have contributed to her death, but a change for the better had been accomplished.
Coming back to the present, the climate crisis has been our World War III for some time, and we also have the COVID-19 pandemic, caused by the zoonotic SARS-CoV-2 novel coronavirus (there are other novel coronaviruses), on top of that.
Now, we already have a lot of people doing a lot of work on making the world a better place (including before the current crises - and I’ve found this group working at following [and adapting] Ms Fortune’s techniques and purposes), but I would like to extend my contribution to also include a series of weekly - or near weekly - meditations along the line of those directed by Ms Fortune, work which goes beyond my initial response.
This post is this week’s contribution.
This Lesson: No. 74 - (Ethical) distraction / deception
Centuries ago, magickal devices referred to as Seals of Solomon were created. One of those was for invisibility, but the device had been built including a bible quotation about tearing out the eyes of enemies - so it wasn’t much about invisibility as it was about blinding people you considered to be opposed to you.
As a more acceptable version of that, a friend and I created a runic design aimed at undetectability - not being noticed.
Similarly, it is possible to create magickal protection devices that are based on harm to intruders, but those are like having a vicious guard dog. If a child innocently approaches the dog, or a young child jumps into your backyard to retrieve a ball, unacceptable and utterly unreasonable harm will be done.
A better defence is for intruders such as thieves to either not notice your home (i.e., undetectability), or be distracted by something else.
As an example of distraction, I found that it was possible to hex the mobile phone of drivers who were using them - which is illegal, here, not to mention dangerous everywhere - while driving, but that left them focused on the phone temporarily (none of this did any permanent damage: it was based on interrupting the signal) not functioning phone and still not paying attention to the road. So rather than try to use that, I now send a through form of a police officer so they will start paying attention to what is happening outside the car. That is unfortunately a lot less effective, possibly because many people think they are entitled to use their phones (which, as I indicated, is illegal here), but I’m not going to go back to the more dangerous approach.
In terms of the potential thief, they
may find themselves day dreaming about something, or focused on another part of
their life, and then when they regain their focus, realise they are no longer
near any homes that look like they can be broken into. (Long term, changed life circumstances / attitudes [especially social] are the only cure.)
In terms of this work, distraction has a part to play in disrupting those are working towards nonBPM outcomes. As always, it is vital to ensure that your BPM Guides approve of the work you are proposing, and that there is no personal malice on the part of you or anyone in your team.
Such distraction could involve:
- when they are planning, become so focused on trivial matters that they lose a time-critical opportunity;
- change the focus to interpersonal squabbles over power (always an inherent part of such groups) and they fail to act on a plan; or
- get one of those involved in acting for the nonBPM focused on something like, say, “what is X doing over there? Are they ready? They should be Y by now”.
Incidentally, yes, the nonBPM can AND DOES do the same against BPM groups.
The military equivalent of this is probably sabotage and other activities “behind the front line”, where actions force occupiers to divert troops away from their active invasions to attend to occupation.
The other military equivalent is active deception.
One example of that is the action the Allies undertook before D-Day to convince the Germans that the invasion of France would not be in Normandy, using techniques such as fake equipment (some inflatable), misinformation conveyed by double agents, and fake radio traffic for fictitious units.
That is less likely to be adaptable to this sort of work, based as it is in the non-physical, but that may be due to limitations in my experience - others may find the concept useable in some way.
This week’s sigil is for Ethics.
Exercise AD- Interactions with broader social trends
Establish and check protection, and then do your initial self-assessment.
Do your combined basic energy work drill, which is, as a broad summary:
- Exercise A - self care (Week No. 46);
- Exercise B - links (self work) (Week
No. 47);
Exercise C - links (partnered - whether physical or nonphysical) (Week No. 48); - Exercise D - objects (self work) (Week
No. 49);
Exercise E - objects (partnered - whether physical or nonphysical) (Week No. 50); - Exercise F - energies (self work) (Week
No. 51);
Exercise G - energies (partnered - whether physical or nonphysical) (Week No. 52); - Exercise H - rescuing cooperatives (self work) (Week
No. 53);
Exercise I - rescuing cooperatives (partnered - whether physical or nonphysical) (Week No. 54); - Exercise J - rescuing uncooperatives (partnered - whether physical or nonphysical) (Week No. 55).
In addition to the skills directly practised, the partnered exercises have practised your ability to work constructively with others. Both sets of skills will now be developed (and pay particular attention to the skills in the lessons on proficiency, countering adaptations, and evolution [which included the “this course as a blog” links] ), but with a focus towards working in larger groups, which in turn have a focus on changing the world. These will be based on the Rangers of the Inner Plane, which is no longer physically active (other than me), but is still working on the nonphysical.
There is an old quote attributed to the poet John Donne that “no man is an island unto himself“ (the actual words are lightly different, as you will see from the linked site). The sentiment also applies to women, non-binary, and Intersex people, but it is basically to the effect that we are all connected.
Carl Jung posited that the connection is through “the collective unconscious“, and people who are aware of the reality of psychism also know that we interact with our reality in a wide range of nonphysical ways.
That also includes group interactions. In fact, the global consciousness (“EGG“) project studies possible signs of such interactions before, during and after major events - such large natural disasters, or major political events.
Although that project doesn’t look at social trends, many observers will point out that they are significant.
So will psychics, and that is why this topic is cropping up here.
If I was to provide an overview of such trends during my life, it started with the counterculture movement of the 60s (see also here and here), when old rigidity and discrimination started being broken down - but that movement went off the rails for a few reasons (I was too young to be part of it, but was always suspicious of the inclusion of illegal drugs, and, looking back from now, consider too much of it was reaction against parental mores and not enough was genuinely based in a principled desire for a better world - which is why so many hippies eventually sold out to the squares).
The progressive change accelerated during the 1970s, particularly in politics, but also saw the New Age movement of the 60s (and possibly earlier) grow (and that also had its problems, such as commercialism and, of late, toxic positivity).
However, a backlash started in the 1970s which led to the evil of the ideology known as neoliberalism entering the mainstream (so rich people could dodge taxes), and a savage reactionary backlash against human rights.
Action to counter those evil changes is slowly growing, which has led to more inclusion and diversity (e.g., Black Lives Matter, MeToo, but also legislative reforms and some companies recognising the value of being ethical and inclusive) and human rights actions such as the Global Magnitsky Acts.
On the other hand, online connectivity has exploded and brought both good and bad, and the existential climate crisis has become unavoidable to all except the most diehard dinosaurs.
The climate crisis is, as I have stated throughout this course, our World War III.
These social trends are mostly slow processes: working on them involves nudging largescale movements of various types of energy - which is what this course is about. A first step in that process is identifying those changes,. trends and movements. News analysis is useful, I find, as is staying in touch with modern history analyses, but also using divination / Guidance.
However, there are also other opportunities along the way.
As an example, over 90% of international Internet traffic is via undersea cables. These run through certain routes, which means that multiple messages / information / communication is in close proximity. That is an opportunity for work - as is for the Highest Spiritual Good - to filter out any nonBPM energy and strengthen BPM energy.
Refer to the figures below, including the bindrune I made specifically for this work.
Undersea internet cables
Work on Internet cables
Bindrune for work on Internet cables
Another typical opportunity for working on energy is large scale world events, such as the olympics and other sporting events, and major politico-economic and similar meetings (e.g., G7, G20, UN General Assembly sessions, election of new Popes, etc).
Protests movements, such as the resistance to the dictators in Belarus and Uganda and the military coup in Burma, are also events that I suggest merit considering as an opportunity.
Again, such events are opportunities for work - as is for the Highest Spiritual Good - to filter out any nonBPM energy and strengthen BPM energy.
So some questions for your group to consider and discuss would be:
- how do you monitor / identify trends or significant movements / events?
- how do you decide an identified trend /movement/ event is significant?
- how do you decide whether to intervene energetically, and what form that intervention should be?
- how do you cater for variations in conscience / opinion of members of the group on these matters (which, as it gets into things like politics, is more likely, in my experience)?
And also remember to automatically, quietly, without a fuss, clear ALL nonBPM units that you may become aware of during all discussions - or any group work, really.
Do your final self-assessment and restorative work, re-check yourself (get help if you need it), and then close your chakras, centre yourself and close your aura, use the banishing version of the LBRP to close circle, ground and release all excess energy; and make sure you are grounded and closed down - implement your Psychic Emergency Action Plan if necessary.

The Meditation (see here, here, and here) broadly consists of:
(1) use appropriate
and responsible techniques (see here, here, here), prayer and ritual (e.g., here) to establish and check protection (re-do the protection, or re-schedule the
meditation, if you don’t feel safe and secure);
(2) establish
a personal connection to your Higher BPM
influences;
(3) visualise
the sigil (see above) for this work. Think of what this work
means for you as you do so, then, when you feel you have fully tuned in to the
meaning of the sigil, see it as a portal or doorway (you could open it like
a door [close it behind you], simply pass through it, visualise yourself
shrinking and passing through the centre, or whatever else works best for you),
and travel through to to a place created by the visualisation of yourself and
others for this work. That place should have:
(a) a visualisation of the workplace you
personally prefer - something you can change, if you wish, as you yourself
change; and
(b) a shared visualisation of a device to astrally
share our knowledge, something developed in a previous project (still
active astrally): a visualisation of a large, green,
multifaceted emerald. Large: around half the size of the Moon; multifaceted
- billions, for all people who wish to be part of this at any time; green -
largely tied up with the previous project, but has connotations of nature and
growth. One of those facets is yours - choose whatever location and
shape you wish (and you may change that as you change [grow] over time),
but in the interest of humility and sharing, see it at around human - or human
aura - size;
(4) flush one’s aura with green (R0, G102,
B0), blue (R0, G0, B204) and
purple (R153 G0, B204);
(5) fill one’s
Heart Chakra (and maybe one’s Earth
Star, Solar Plexus, Third Eye and Crown Chakras) with green, blue
and purple; send a weave of three
streams of this colour from the Chakra(s) to the visualised gigantic, multi-faceted emerald through your
facet until you see your energy enlivening other areas of the emerald and can
feel similar energies flowing back to you;
(6) visualise
the rune / bindrune;
(7) generate feelings
of love, peace, joy and respect;
(8) strengthen
those feelings (energies);
(9) radiate
those energies to the world for nine to eighteen minutes;
(10) then, on
Sunday, also perform the additional meditation work for around 15 minutes or so:
contemplate the topic, and the spiritual (i.e., nonphysical)
implications of it, and seek insights and understanding. Do not be distracted
by thoughts of physical actions - those are necessary also, but this exercise
is about the nonphysical, in the broadest possible sense, and the focus should
be on nonphysical actions, energy flows, symbols, and the like, all with the
intention of bringing about a change for the better. As a second stage, if you
wish, you can meditate on any physical actions which may be necessary, but get
the spiritually focused work done first;
Also on Sunday, perform
the exercise(s) as set out in this post;
(11) when you
have finished your work:
(i) send the
thought of any knowledge you wish to store or share through your portal into
the group visualised emerald;
(ii) return
back through the sigil;
(iii) close your
chakras, centre and ground yourself and close your aura, use the banishing
version of the LBRP to open circle, ground and release all excess energy; and
make sure you are grounded and closed down – eat, if you need to, or seek help
from someone capable and trusted; and
(iv) make sure you are yourself again - free of any
lingering attachments or (misguided) ideas of being subservient,
respectful of yourself and your integrity as you should be of others.
